Finally, Xiaomi is going to launch PocoPhone F2 smartphone in March 2019. At this year’s Mobile World Congress China, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun noted that the China-based POCO manufacturer is going to launch a 5G handset in the year 2019. First up is the specific hardware. He also confirmed that the chip which is integrated inside Poco F2 smartphone is manufactured by Qualcomm and it will support all 5G bands. The Poco F2 will be available via Amazon India and the Xiaomi website. The main highlighted features of this phone are in-display fingerprint sensor, Face Unlock feature and quad primary camera. The dual-SIM (Nano) Xiaomi PocoPhone F2 runs OxygenOS on top of Android 9.1 Pie and sports a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (2160×3840 pixels) AMOLED touchscreen display. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, coupled with 10/8GB of RAM. The total internal storage of this device is of 256/512 GB and it cannot be further expanded via using any micro SD card.

The primary camera of this device will support 4K videos at 80fps, Super Slow Motion video option, and triple-LED flash. Whereas the secondary camera of this device is of 24.0+16.0 MP sensors having f/2.1 aperture and EIS support.
Other connectivity options include 5G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C (v2.0) port. The phone is backed by 5,000mAh huge Li-on non-removable battery and it also supports fast charging.
In stores, it will be available in three different colors and the 256 GB variant of this device will cost around Rs. 35,999 whereas the 512 GB is priced for Rs. 42,999.
