ColorOS 12 Release Date
Oppo has confirmed that the ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 may be unveiled between middle-to-late of September. The company has also released official wallpapers of ColorOS 12 that can be downloaded.
Apart from the wallpapers, the company has also presented a short video with several geometric shapes that turn into the ColorOS 12 logo. The wallpaper and the video reflect the colourful UI of the upcoming ColorOS 12.
About ColorOS 12
Oppo has created an Android-based mobile operating system aka ColorOS. Initially, Realme phones got ColorOS but later on, it was turned to Realme UI in 2020.
ColorOS was first built upon Android Jellybean in 2013. Currently, ColorOS 11 is in used and people are about to get ColorOS 12 based on Android 12.
ColorOS 12 Features
The ColorOS 12 features ‘Cross-Screen Interconnection’, which could be same as the Huawei Multi-Screen Collaboration.
ColorOS 12 will bring features somewhat from Android 12, like new quick tiles, new widgets, improved one-handed mode, notification settings, visual overhaul, new app pairs for split-screen, privacy improvements and many more.
The ColorOS may have feature that resembles Chinese Android skins, containing the likes of MIUI from Xiaomi, Flyme from Meizu Smartisan OS and HydrogenOS.
